As you already know (if you don't live in a cave) the Versace for H&M collection hit stores this morning. I lazily arrived at the Azrieli Mall branch at 9:20 AM, for the 9:30 opening - assuming that the rain outside, early hour and general Israeli apathy would keep things calm. Holy Donatella, was I wrong! I was engulfed in a belligerent, messy crowd of about 300 local stylists, silly gays and reporters. I'd never done "guerrilla shopping" before. There were lines around the block, fences guarding the women's section and more leopard-print clothing flying in the air than at an orgy at Bobby Trendy's house. I sincerely hope I wasn't caught by some TV camera while I sloshed around through the crowd schlepping 100 items, sweating like a Sicilan sailor and knocking over gays and slow, old ladies to get to the best pieces. ♥ The Boyfriend
כמו שאתם יודעים (אלא אם כן אתם גרים במערה) הקולקצייה של ורסאצ'ה לאייץ' אנד אמ יצאה לחנויות הבוקר. אני בעצלנותי הגעתי לקניון עזריאלי ב9:20 לפתיחה שאירעה ב9:30 - בתקווה ששעת הבוקר המוקדמת בנוסף לגשם ואדישות הישראלית ייגרמו לאנשים להישאר בבתיהם. כמה שטעיתי! הצפיפות הכילה בערך 300 סטייליסטים מקומיים, הומואים מפוקפקים וכתבים. מעולם לא עשיתי "שופינג גרילה" כזה. הטורים היו אין-סופיים וגדר הפריד את אזור הנשים בסטייל מאה שערים. אני ממש מקווה שלא נתפסתי בעדשת אחד צלמי הטלויזיה בעודי מפלס את דרכי בקהל, מיוזע כמו מלח סיציליאני, רומס גייז וזקנות איטיות בדרכי אל היעד, להשיג את הפריטים השווים ביותר. ♥ הבויפרנד
