Shaun Samson's fall/winter 2013/2014 men's collection proves once again that he is the master of taking popular culture and translating it into true men's fashion (in a a much more sophisticated way than, say, Jeremy Scott). In this collection, perhaps not his strongest, he nontheless knocks us out with hockey inspired tops and outerwear. ♥ The Boyfriend

London Men's Spring/Summer 2013: Shaun Samson

Ok, so maybe I didn't fall in love with the entire collection, like I did with his previous one, but Shaun Samson hit the nail on the head with these looks from his spring/summer 2013 runway. The sequin shirts and accents, the studded sandals, the see-through touch. Amazing! These are the kinds of refreshing touches menswear is so in need of. ♥ The Boyfriend

London Men's Fall/Winter 2012: SHAUN SAMSON

Designer Shaun Samson must be a genius. If Jil Sander, Missy Elliot and Jean-Michel Basquiat had a baby, it would be Samson's fall/winter 2012 collection. The high-fashion version of "ghetto" sportswear is shockingly elegant and clean - oversize proportions and grafiitti-style prints take on a sophisticated look when paired with blocking of muted colors and tailored shirts. Samson has tapped into what gay men have known for a long time - that mesh fabric is one of the most delicate yet manly fabrics out there, and can be very elegant when used the correct way. ♥ The Boyfriend
