Paris Men's Fall/Winter 2012: JEREMY SCOTT

Once again Jeremy Scott, our generation's fashion version of Andy Warhol, brings his clever, pop art aesthetic to the runway for fall/winter 2012. I truly believe that Scott is a talented designer, but perhaps his less-than-wearable pieces need a bit of a new direction? This collection seems a lot heavier on the crazy and missing some of the sartorialism and/or fashion intelligence of previous ones. ♥ The Boyfriend

והנה שוב, ג'רמי סקוט, הגרסה האופנתית של אנדי וארהול בדורנו, מביא את מראה הפופ-ארט הפיקח למסלול התצוגה סתיו/חורף 2012. אני באמת מאמין שסקוט הוא מעצב מוכשר, אבל אולי הפריטים הלא-כל-כך-לבישים שלו צריכים הכוונה חדשה? הקולקציה הזו נראית מתאמצת וכאילו שקבלה מנת אינפוזיה גדולה של "קרייזי" ופחות אינטליגנציה וכושר חשיבה אופנתית, שראינו בעונות קודמות. ♥ הבויפרנד

I ♡ SHEER Magazine even more...

I just can't get enough of SHEER magazine, by far the coolest new publication I've found in a while. These images, shot by David Urbanke, feature popular model Mickey Ayoub in some fantastic, outlandish outfits on the streets of New York. Good face + good clothes + the best city in the world = perfection. I've come to realize that the people at SHEER, like The Boyfriend, have a weakness for wacky clothes (this shoot features mostly Jeremy Scott). Keep it coming! ♥ The Boyfriend

שייר הוא אחד מטובי המגזינים החדשים שנראו לאחרונה, פשוט לא נמאס לי ממנו! בתמונות שצולמו על-ידי דוד אורבנקי נראה הדוגמן מיקי איוב בכמה אווטפיטים מופרכים ברחובות ניו-יורק. בגדים יפים + פרצוף נאה + העיר המדהימה בעולם = שלמות. כבר הבנתי שלאנשים מאחורי הקלעים במגזין שייר יש חולשה לבגדים שובבים (ההפקה מציגה בעיקר את בגדי המעצב ג'רמי סקוט), בדיוק כמוני! ♥ הבויפרנד

New York Men's Spring/Summer 2012: JEREMY SCOTT

The Jeremy Scott men's spring/summer 2012 runway show was a wild ride of near naked models (two of my favorites: Sebastian Sauve and River Viiperi) in redneck-chic outfits leaving very little to the imagination. The Boyfriend loves Scott's previous work for companies like Adidas and collaborations with sunglasses guru Linda Farrow. You've got to love the balls on this guy (no pun intended)!

After the runway shots are some backstage photos of Sebastian and River by acclaimed photographer Jeremy Kost, whose vintage polaroid aesthetic is well-known in fashion circles. ♡ The Boyfriend

התצוגה של ג'רמי סקוט לאופנת גברים קיץ/אביב 2012 היתה מסע מטורף עם דוגמנים כמעט ערומים (כולל שני פייבוריטים שלי: סבאסטיאן סוב וריבר ויפרי) בבגדי קאובוי-שיק. הבויפרנד ממש מעריץ את עבודתיו הקודמות של סקוט עם מותגים כמו אדידס וענק המשקפיים, לינדה פארו

אחרי צילומי המסלול יש כמה צילומים מאחורי הקלעים של התצוגה, בהן מופיעים שני בני הזוג שלי (הדמיוניים) ריבר וסבאסטיאן מאת הצלם הידוע ג'רמי קוסט. ♡ הבויפרנד
