FENDI Baguette

In 1997 FENDI released a handbag that made history and changed the fashion industry - the Baguette. This year, to celebrate the the must have accessory's 15th birthday, FENDI teamed up with publishing house Rizzoli to release a coffee table book featuring some of the 700 versions of the bag. In addition, a trio of California artists was commissioned to create three new, gallery-worthy incarnations of the Baguette. The Boyfriend's favorite piece to come out of the project is the turquoise colored, sequin graffiti-covered bag created by veteran California graffiti-artist Chaz Bojorquez. It is a true example of fashion meeting art in a whimsical yet ravishing way, without sacrificing either visual, practical or symbolic value. ♥ The Boyfriend
