BOYFRIEND collaborated with independent Israeli shoe designer Oded Arama to create a shocking yet elegant shoe for summer 2013, reflecting the theme Eternal Summer. The black suede oxford, featuring patent leather finishes and a four-inch foam rubber platform, broadcasts both severe elegance and playful chic at once. ARAMA is a modern unisex brand, based in Tel Aviv, which designs luxury handmade footwear.

Boyfriend's photo shoot for summer 2013, photographed by Yuval Azili, is inspired by its love of youth and beauty, shadowed by an inescapable fear of aging and death, which is present even in our most beautiful moments, like a ghost in the corner of the room. Anxiety is represented by a select amount of black clothing and macabre accessories, set against the backdrop of the last days of the long, idyllic Israeli summer that also will inevitably come to an end. The photo shoot asks the question, "Is death perhaps just a mere pause before an eternal, wonderful summer?" Get ready for a summer full of black, contemplation and hedonistic pleasure at the edge of the abyss. ♥ The Boyfriend

ההפקה של בויפרנד לקיץ 2013 (צולמה ע"י יובל אצילי) שואבת השראה מאהבתו לנעורים ויופי, ומחרדתו מפני הזקנה והמוות, שקיימת גם ברגעים הכי יפים שלנו, כמו רוח רפאים בפינת החדר. החרדה מיוצגת על ידי כמות מצומצמת של בגדים שחורים ואקססוריז מקבריים, כשברקע חולפים ימיו האחרונים של הקיץ הישראלי האוטופי והארוך - שגם הוא יגיע לקיצו. ההפקה שואלת אותנו: "האם המוות הוא בעצם רק אתנחתא קצרה לפני קיץ נצחי ומופלא?" תתכוננו לקיץ מלא בשחור, התבוננות אופנתית והנאה של חיים על סף התהום. ♥ הבויפרנד
